Life can be really hard. Sometimes we need help.

That’s okay.

Welcome to Crosby Counseling

Why Therapy?

Life is complicated. There could be issues with our relationships, like our spouse, children, aging parents, or other family members. There could be issues created by a pivotal event, like getting married, bringing home a new baby, contemplating or getting a divorce, losing a loved one, starting a new job or facing any other kind of life transition. Sometimes we just feel anxious and that can be exhausting and overwhelming.

Life Transitions + Emotions

Life’s transitions can trigger strong emotions– and there are a range of them. You may be experiencing anxiety, sadness, loneliness, anger, worry, overwhelming stress or a feeling of being out of control. You may not be sleeping, or you may be sleeping too much. You have a strong appetite, or none at all. It’s complicated and confusing and it is all unique to you.

Getting Help

There IS hope. You can make it through and find a better place and you don’t have to do it alone. You can regain control over your life, calm your mind, and create lasting change. Often we don’t want to burden our family and friends with our feelings and problems. Sometimes you need a professional. That is where I come in.

Services

1

Traditional One-to-One
In-Person Therapy/Counseling

My office is at
3969 E. Arapahoe Rd., Centennial, CO 80122,

providing a quiet, comfortable, and accessible space for personalized, one-on-one sessions. In-person therapy offers a dedicated, distraction-free space designed to support your healing. Showing up physically to a session can create a meaningful ritual around your mental health care — a clear boundary between everyday life and intentional reflection. Many people find that the face-to-face connection with their therapist deepens trust and rapport over time.

2

Teletherapy

Telehealth offers a convenient, accessible, and effective way to engage in psychotherapy from the comfort of your own space. It removes barriers like commute time, scheduling challenges, and geographic limitations, making it easier to prioritize your mental health. Many people find that being in a familiar environment helps them feel more relaxed and open during sessions. With secure, HIPAA-compliant technology, telehealth provides the same level of care as in-person therapy while giving you greater flexibility and consistency in your healing process.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling is offered as a private pay service because insurance plans are structured to cover treatment for an individual’s diagnosed mental health condition, not relationship-focused work. Couples counseling focuses on improving communication, strengthening connection, and addressing relational patterns rather than treating a medical diagnosis. I offer this as a private pay service so it allows couples to receive confidential, flexible, and personalized care without the restrictions or requirements imposed by insurance companies.

Private Pay

I choose to operate as a private-pay therapist so I can offer the highest level of privacy, flexibility, and individualized care. By not contracting with insurance companies, I’m able to tailor treatment to your needs—not a diagnosis or a limited session structure. This also protects your confidentiality, as your personal information and therapy records are not shared with insurance providers. Private pay allows us to move at your pace, focus on what truly matters to you, and create a therapeutic experience designed around your goals.

Why is couples counseling private-pay?

Couples counseling is offered as a private pay service because insurance plans are structured to cover treatment for an individual’s diagnosed mental health condition, not relationship-focused work.
